Radical liberal dominance of the entertainment industry – e.g., Tina Fey and PBS

They say the entertainment industry is filled with radical liberals.  Remember Kanye West famously announcing that Bush-43 doesn’t like black people?  And before that, Barbara Streisand and Alec Baldwin promising to leave America if it elected Bush-43?

Baldwin’s “30 Rock” castmate Tina Fey was almost as bad during a recent ceremony awarding her the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.  In her acceptance speech, the comedian who became famous imitating conservative Sarah Palin said the rise of conservative women “is good for all women unless you don’t want to pay for your own rape kit… unless you’re a lesbian who wants to get married to your partner of 20 years… unless you believe in evolution.”  Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Unfortunately time constraints forced PBS to edit the show, and the preceding material was edited out.  In the broadcast show, Fey was shown saying the following about Palin – “I would be a liar and an idiot if I didn’t thank Sarah Palin for helping get me here tonight.  My partial resemblance and her crazy voice are the two luckiest thing that every happened to me.”  How gracious.

Too bad the conservatives don’t have a cooperative media to smooth over their rough, mean-spirited edges.
